Answer: We are sorry to report - Masturbation has no permanent effect on the size of a guy's penis. If a guy masturbates and gets an erection, his penis will fill with blood, get hard, and grow in size — but when the penis becomes soft again, it will return to its regular size. Flaccid (soft) adult penises are usually between 3-1/4 and 4-1/4 inches long. The average length of an erect penis is five to seven inches long. If penis is not erecting to the size it once did, or will not become fully erect, you will need to follow up with a doctor and see what solutions their may be for you. Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is usually caused by other factors - not by to much/to little sex or masturbation.
